No.5, Lane18 ​as an Institution of Creation and Non- creation


" Lane.18, No.5 " is a project running from 2014 to 2016, with a group of art students doing residency in a deserted place of Tamsui government. The goal is to experiment every possibility of “Performative Space.” This thesis views " Lane.18, No.5 "as a meta-project-based work, discusses the loop of Creation/Non-creation, and brings up an observation about an artist-based art institution. At the end, the discus-sion expands to issues such as "space practice" and "community" which directs to publicity in art policy.
